* Biblical Tour & Purpose

What are Biblical Tours? Biblical tours are immersive travel experiences that bring the stories of Scripture to life by guiding you through the actual lands, cities, and sacred sites mentioned in the Bible. These journeys allow you to walk where prophets, apostles, and kings once walked—turning your faith into something tangible and deeply personal. At Quality Time Travels, our Biblical Tours go beyond sightseeing. Each experience is prayerfully curated to deepen your connection with God through cultural exploration, historical teaching, and intentional moments of rest and reflection. These tours are designed to nourish your spirit, strengthen your faith, and surround you with like-minded individuals in sacred spaces.

Who typically joins these Biblical Tours? Our Biblical Tours welcome people from all walks of life and at every stage in their spiritual journey. Whether you’re just beginning to explore who God is or have walked closely with Him for years, these trips are designed for those seeking a deeper understanding of God’s presence and purpose. If you love putting the Bible to life—walking where Scripture unfolded and experiencing the stories firsthand—you’ll find these tours especially meaningful. You’ll be surrounded by like-minded individuals who share a passion for faith, discovery, and travel. Depending on the tour, travelers typically range from ages 28 to 62, and each tour is thoughtfully crafted to serve different groups—some experiences are women-only, while others are designed especially for couples. Above all, these Biblical Tours are created to help you grow closer to Christ and bring glory to Him through every step of your journey.

Will this help me grow closer to God? Absolutely! Before you leave on this trip, ask God to give you ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to understand His will. This experience can be a powerful moment of spiritual growth where Scripture comes alive, and His presence feels closer than ever. My prayer is that this Biblical Tour becomes a space for you to connect, reflect, and receive.

What’s the difference between a biblical tour and a mission trip? A mission trip is centered on serving communities in need, often organized by a church or faith-based organization. In contrast, QTT’s Biblical Tours are designed to deepen your personal walk with Christ by visiting the very places where His presence moved, His people walked, and His promises unfolded.

Will I have time alone with God on the tour? Yes. While this is a group experience, Biblical Tours are designed to intentionally build in quiet moments for you to spend time alone with God. We also will typically incorporate a night of bible study to journal, pray, reflect, or simply rest in His presence. If you desire even more personal space to go deeper, we recommend upgrading to Single Occupancy, and joining the optional Luxury Sabbatical Add-On for extended rest, renewal, and uninterrupted time with God.

Do I have to be knowledgeable about the Bible to join? Not at all! A common misconception about QTT's Biblical Tours is that you need to have deep knowledge of Scripture to join, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. This isn’t a test of who knows the Bible best; it's an experience that meets you right where you are. Whether you’re new in your faith or have walked with God for years, you’ll be guided with clarity, compassion, and insight. This is not a space for judgement.

Can I come alone if I don't know anyone? Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to join us solo! If you make a “Double Occupancy” reservation. Our Divine Pairing Service thoughtfully pairs you with a like-hearted traveler who complements your spirit and travel style. Before the tour begins, we’ll introduce you to your roommate, giving you both the opportunity to build a genuine connection well before you depart. This connection often becomes one of the most treasured parts of the experience, with friendships that endure far beyond the trip itself. Stepping into this journey alone means stepping into a community that will uplift, inspire, and walk alongside you every step of the way. Remember, God intended for us to be in community.

What if I’m not actively attending church right now? This tour isn’t about church attendance, but about your personal walk. Whether you’re seeking God again, need healing from church hurt, or simply want to reconnect, this is a safe space for you.

* Luxury Sabbatical Add-On

What is a Luxury Sabbatical Add-On? The Luxury Sabbatical Add-On is an exclusive opportunity to extend your biblical journey with a restful and rejuvenating retreat designed to renew your mind, body, and spirit before returning home. After your immersive time exploring sacred sites, this add-on invites you to unwind in an ultra-luxurious setting—think five-star beachfront resorts, private yacht excursions, and intimate, curated experiences like sunset beach dinners. More than just relaxation, the Sabbatical is a deliberate pause for spiritual renewal and reflection, allowing you to soak in God’s presence in a tranquil paradise. It’s a perfect complement to your Biblical Tour, blending divine rest with exceptional comfort and personalized service.

Do I have to participate in group activities during the sabbatical? Not at all. You have the option to choose full solitude or community reflection. Every activity is optional, though we recommend reviewing the Luxury Sabbatical itinerary to see what's included in the price.

Is this a spiritual retreat or just a luxury vacation? It's both. Think of it as a sacred sabbath in luxury form. You’ll have time to journal, worship, rest, and reflect—without rushing or expectations. We offer light spiritual structure (like a morning prayer walk or worship circle), but the experience is spacious and spirit-led.

Can I book the sabbatical later or do I have to commit now? It's recommended to add the sabbatical as early as possible, typically during the reservation process to guarantee availability. However, if you need more time, you may add it later as long as all payments are completed before or on the tour's Final Payment Date.

Can I go if I didn’t attend the Biblical Tour? These exclusive experiences are only available to those participating in the Biblical Tour.

Will I still be traveling with the group, or is this separate? You’ll be with others who also chose the add-on, but the experience is designed to feel like a true sabbatical, not a group tour. There’s plenty of space for rest and personal flow.

If I have to sign up as the same occupancy type as the Biblical Tour? No, you don’t have to stick to the same occupancy type as the Biblical Tour. When you reserve your spot for the Luxury Sabbatical Add-On, you’ll have the option to choose your preferred room type separately. Whether you want to continue with a shared room or upgrade to a single occupancy, the choice is yours during the booking process.

* Travel & Logistics

Do I need a passport? What if I don’t have one yet? Yes, a valid passport is required for all international travel. However, you can still sign up for most Biblical Tours and Luxury Sabbatical Add-Ons even if you don’t have your passport yet. You’ll just need to make sure your passport information is submitted by the deadline when all traveler details are due. Please note that you are responsible for obtaining your passport and covering any associated fees. If you have any questions about this, please email sarah@qualitytimetravels.com.

What is the official itinerary? The itinerary listed on the website gives you a great overview, but a detailed, day-to-day breakdown will be provided a couple of months before your trip. You’ll receive access to the full itinerary through the Quality Time Travels app, where you can view each day’s schedule, activities, and helpful travel information pertaining to your trip.

Will you assign me a roommate? Yes! If you select a Double Occupancy room type and don’t have a roommate in mind, we offer our "Divine Pairing" service to thoughtfully match you with another traveler. We take into account preferences such as sleep habits, lifestyle, and personality whenever possible to create a peaceful and respectful environment.

What kind of accommodations are we staying in? We stay in hand-picked, quality hotels, lodges, and villas that are both comfortable and culturally immersive. While styles may vary by region, all accommodations represent the highest standard of luxury available within that destination.

Do I have to book my own flights? No, you don’t have to book your own international flights. We offer a Flight Assistance Add-On, which you can purchase at the time of booking. With this service, our team will find and coordinate the most ideal international flight options for you. However, if you'd rather handle your flights independently, that’s absolutely fine too!

Do I need travel insurance? Travel insurance is highly recommended for all Biblical Tours and Luxury Sabbatical Add-Ons. It provides valuable coverage in case of unexpected events such as flight cancellations or delays, medical emergencies, lost luggage, or trip interruptions. It also helps protect your overall investment in the tour. While it’s not required, we strongly encourage you to explore coverage options that best suit your needs and ensure peace of mind throughout your travels.

Do I need a visa? You may need a visa depending on your citizenship and the destination of the tour. We strongly recommend reviewing the visa requirements before signing up to ensure you have ample time to prepare. You are fully responsible for obtaining any required visas and covering all associated fees unless otherwise specified.

Am I able to connect with the others going on the trip beforehand? Yes, absolutely! There will be a scheduled virtual meet-up a couple weeks before the Tour & Sabbatical begin. You’ll have the chance to meet everyone and get all your questions answered by a QTT team member.

Can someone else sponsor or gift this trip to me? Yes! If you're interested in this option, please email sarah@qualitytimetravels.com, so we can invoice them directly or issue a custom payment link.

Can I pay in full at once? Yes, you're more than welcomed to pay the full balance up front for peace of mind. You’ll have that option when it's time to submit your deposit.
